About me

I am Tim Klenk (* 18.05.1999) - a Tech, Gaming and Space Nerd who, since he can remember, was always building things to make his day to day easier.

All of this started as a kid by restructuring my room every few weeks, went to Programming as a Teen to solve his Mathproblems easier and led to automatic Tools for Streaming and Smart Home Systems.

Way back in Elementary School I already dreamed going to an IT focused school and planned my academic career towards that goal - this broad me to the "Technical High School", a true dream School for me.

There I fell in love with so many things - hardware programming, FrontEnd Applications aswell as automation and cross system interactions - which I now persue in my career.

Smart Home Prototype

Project Image

I built a Smart Home Prototype as my final exam project of my A Levels. This System contained multiple different modules based on one (or more) Arduinos, all linked together and to a central Hub Server using Ethernet / WiFi.

Some Modules used sensors to collect real world data, others used information of other modules to activate motors or turn on lights and others displayed text or images of the current status.

HiWi Job: FrontEnd WebDevelopment of procedurally generated Physics Exercises

As a student, I worked along my 3rd Semester at the MINT-Kolleg to create an Online Physics Bridge Course.

I was responsible for generating interactive text problems. To be exact, a Python Framework was used to encapsulate each text problem task into Components, that used LaTeX to translated my text problems into PDFs which could then be displayed in the browser.

There I learned a lot about working with big Projects and multiple Teammembers.
